Why air quality matters for your business

What if the productivity of your teams depended on the air they breathe ?

Having your air analyzed helps identify invisible pollutants (CO, VOCs, fine particles, ozone, etc.)
and to ensure a healthy and compliant working environment.
But it also allows companies to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

The effects of good or bad air quality in your premises.

The standards to be met for offices and industries

Regulation is not enough

Today, regulations set a framework, but are not always sufficient to ensure optimal air quality.
Anticipating these challenges means choosing a healthier, more efficient and more sustainable work environment.

You are a space receiving the public.

For a space like that of a coworking
In France, the following decree can help you : decree of the environmental code

You are a private office

In France, it is the labor code that applies.

The different sources of VOC in open space

What is a VOC?

A VOC (volatile organic compound) is a chemical substance that evaporates easily in the air at room temperature and can come from many materials or daily activities.

Construction materials and equipment

VOCs, emitted by furniture, paints or cleaning products, are frequent. Invisible, they can have long-term health effects.

Fine particles, often coming from outside, circulate easily in the space and can affect the quality of the air breathed by everyone.

Finally, some equipment (such as printers) can emit ozone, and a lack of ventilation can promote the presence of biological pollutants (bacteria, mold, allergens).

Human and biological emissions

Contrary to popular belief, the occupants themselves are a significant source of VOCs. Breathing, transpiration or even the natural processes of the body continuously release volatile organic compounds. In an open space of several dozen people, these emissions accumulate quickly.

When humidity is too high (more than 60%), naturally occurring microorganisms in indoor air: bacteria, viruses, molds, which can also produce volatile compounds.

A specific problem ?

Our experts help you find the most suitable analysis for your needs.

CO analysis

Why measure CO in an open space?

A direct indicator of air renewal

CO is not the most dangerous pollutant per se, but it is an excellent tracer of “confined” air.
The more his concentration increases, the more it means that the air is poorly renewed… and that the other pollutants (VOCs, particles, odors) also accumulate.

Capteur Class'air CO2

The CO sensors

Less expensive, these are practical devices that allow monitoring the evolution of concentration in real time.

Go through a design office

They intervene when a more in-depth assessment of indoor air quality is desired. Thanks to their measuring instruments and expertise, they can identify pollution sources and propose personalized recommendations.

Go directly through an analysis laboratory

Going through a laboratory will allow you to:

  • To have an expert assigned who will guide you throughout the process and ensure that they offer you the most appropriate analysis for your needs.
  • To benefit from simplified sampling protocols allowing quick sampling of your site.
  • To have access to the latest generation analytical instruments, ensuring maximum precision and fine detection of pollutants.

Don’t wait any longer, contact us for a quote or to arrange an air quality test in your premises. Your health and that of your employees depend on it.
